Consider the various types of federal financial aid programs, or look into private education loans as an alternative. Click on the following links to explore available options for federal / US government student loans.

A Supplementary Step To The US Government Financial Aid Application Process

Your eligibility for all of the various types of federal government financial aid services is first determined by filling out a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). To complete this form, visit the official federal financial aid web site dedicated to this purpose at www.fafsa.ed.gov.

Once you submit the FAFSA, you will receive a Student Aid Report (SAR), which will give you an opportunity to correct previously reported “incorrect information” before the form is sent from the Department of Education to your school.

Filling out the FAFSA application does not necessarily have to be completed before submitting federal financial aid forms through Studentloans.com, but it is required before any student loans can be awarded to you by your school.
